Cuadra Piedreros isn't a brand built around a product. It's a product built around a life. This is the universe Fabián Hernández built — quarry by quarry, horse by horse, boot by boot.
1982
Roots of Resilience
La Talega, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.
Fabián grew up in a small town outside San Miguel de Allende. His uncles introduced him to quarry work — stone, the slow patient kind of labor where every day teaches something. His grandfather Jesús taught him two things that would mark his life: how to work hard, and how to love horses.
After arriving in the United States, he kept building his expertise and his entrepreneurial mindset — determined to strive for excellence through every struggle.
2006
Building an empire in stone.

Fabián founded and operates multiple stone quarries across Texas, plus a premium stone yard. His operating philosophy is simple: precision, quality, constant improvement.
Today Cobra Stone runs 5 quarries in Texas — Florence, Lueders, Liberty Hill, San Saba, Georgetown. It's the largest natural stone supply and rock quarry in Texas and the Southwest. It is also the foundation that made everything else possible.
2023
From horses to Cuadra Piedreros.
Alongside his work in stone, Fabián's lifelong passion for horses became another chapter. Cuadra Piedreros — originally owned by Jesse Espinoza and Martin Aguado, then joined by Margarito Espinoza, and finally by Fabián — is a competitive racing team that has earned national and international recognition.
That same drive sparked the brand: Cuadra Piedreros Boots & More — handmade exotic-skin boots, hats with personality, accessories built to outlast trends. Designed in Texas, crafted in Mexico, by artisans whose families have been doing this for generations.
The double-triangle logo represents trinity, unity, and deeply rooted family values.
